BlueGreen Geophysics was founded in 2007 by Kerry Key (Associate Professor at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Columbia University) and David Myer (Ph.D. from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at U.C. San Diego). David Alumbaugh (Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley) joined BGG in the summer of 2018.
